Job Description

10-4 Logistics USA is seeking a Regional Class A (CDL-A) Over-the-Road truck driver to operate 100% dry van, no-touch freight with approximately 60% drop-and-hook. This role is suited for an experienced CDL-A truck driver who can safely complete regional OTR assignments while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Compensation & schedule

  • Training pay: $650 during a four-week in-cab training period with a trainer.
  • Base pay after training: $0.55 to $0.65 per mile (experience-dependent).
  • Performance bonus: $0.04 to $0.06 per mile, paid monthly.
  • Typical home time: Bi-weekly.
  • Estimated annual compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 (USD).

Primary responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Complete assigned regional OTR routes to meet schedules and delivery instructions.
  • Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; report defects and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate hours-of-service records and electronic logs (ELD).
  • Ensure proper cargo handling and securement; follow drop-and-hook procedures where applicable.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers.
  • Adhere to fuel management, routing, and on-road safety protocols.

Minimum qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
  • At least 120 hours of truck driving school instruction completed within the last 24 months (no prior OTR experience required).
  • Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and pass required drug screening.
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication.
