We are seeking motivated entry-level engineers eager to learn SCADA and PLC technologies and grow into key contributors to our project delivery teams.

 

Role Overview

The Entry-Level Engineer will support SCADA and PLC engineering tasks, configuration, and field commissioning under the supervision of senior engineers. This role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals from STEM backgrounds who want to build hands-on expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and real-time data platforms.

No prior SCADA or PLC product experience is required — candidates are expected to learn quickly and achieve product certifications during their first year.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering & Design
    • Assist in developing control system configurations, PLC programs, and I/O lists.
    • Support preparation of drawings, documentation, and wiring diagrams.
    • Learn and apply relevant standards (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, UL 508A).
  • Configuration & Testing
    • Configure SCADA software platforms under supervision.
    • Support PLC programming, logic testing, and simulation in the lab.
    • Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT) and document results.
  • Field Services
    • Support on-site installation, wiring verification, and commissioning of systems.
    • Assist with startup testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
    • Work alongside senior field engineers to learn safe practices and client interactions.
  • Project Support
    • Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, and system documentation.
    • Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to deliver turnkey solutions.
    • Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and technical workshops.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM-related field .
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new hardware/software platforms quickly.
  • No prior SCADA or PLC product knowledge required — must be able to obtain product certifications within the first year .
  • Familiarity with basic programming, control theory, or industrial communication protocols is a plus.
  • Basic skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (local and regional).
