The Operations Inventory Specialist role is based onsite at the Pennsauken, NJ fulfillment partner. The position involves driving continuous improvement and day-to-day execution across three fulfillment partners located in New Jersey, Indiana, and California. Responsibilities include applying best practices to improve fulfillment productivity and quality, creating dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance, developing SOPs and training, leading continuous improvement projects, converting business forecasts into fulfillment center and carrier level forecasts, analyzing carrier spend and performance, ensuring compliance with food quality and safety programs including GMP & HACCP, and acting as liaison for Hungryroots Food Safety and Supply Chain team. The role requires integrating AI processes into workflows to simplify IT and focus on meaningful work. Qualifications include 2-6 years of operations experience, preferably in direct-to-consumer shipping, being located commutably to Pennsauken, NJ, on-site support 5 days per week, a Bachelors Degree (industrial engineering or supply chain management a plus), experience in continuous improvement initiatives, and ability to use data to identify problems and develop solutions.
