Restaurant Host (Greeter) Join us for an exciting opportunity to be part of the Food & Beverage team at Destination by Hyatt in Wild Dunes Resort, Isle of Palms, SC. Position Overview The Host/Greeter serves as the first point of contact for guests dining at the resort’s restaurants. This role creates a warm and welcoming environment, manages reservations and seating, and supports smooth front‑of‑house operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously as they arrive. Manage reservations, wait lists, and guest flow using seating charts or reservation systems. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations. Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information about restaurant hours and offerings. Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure smooth service and efficient table turns. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entryway. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction. Support the Food & Beverage team as needed to enhance the overall dining experience. Qualifications Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest‑first attitude. Professional appearance and ability to represent the Wild Dunes Resort service culture. Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment Front‑of‑house restaurant environment with direct guest contact.
