Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for the Pediatric Operating Room with at least one year of acute OR experience and an active RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Pediatric Operating Room within a hospital environment
• Care for pediatric patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Eight-hour shifts, five days per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients during operative and invasive procedures
• Direct and indirect provision of patient care in the operating room using the nursing process
• Individualizes patient care according to age, health status, and procedure
• Expected to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active RN license from Oklahoma or a compact state (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room setting
• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Excellent understanding of AORN standards
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
